BOSTON, MA – Okay, I’d like to put last week behind me. My overall record is now a disappointing 18-23, so going 3-0 weekend this weekend is a must. Fingers crossed. That said, here are your NFL Picks For Rugby Heads:

2011 Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin III

Baltimore Ravens (9-3) at Washington Redskins (6-6): Upset Alert!!! I understand that the Redskins are at home in this game and are a team that is .500, but they are still the underdog here. This is my reasoning for the upset prediction… If the Ravens can lose to Charlie Batch and the banged-up Steelers, than they can certainly lose to RGIII and the Redskins who have everything to game and lose from this victory. I like a Griffin III to Garcon hookup here.
My Prediciton: 27-21 Redskins

Detroit Lions (4-8) at Green Bay Packers (8-4): This is a really tough one. I feel like the Lions have to bounce back eventually, but Green Bay is starting to click offensively. This will truly be a great game. I think the factor in this one is Green Bay running back Alex Green verse the Lions defensive line.
My Prediction: 31-21 Packers

Yay, Patriots!

Houston Texans (11-1) at New England Patriots (9-3): This is truly a great match-up here. It features two of the top offenses in the NFL. It will come down to who’s defense is better. Personally I like the J.J. Watt led Texans defense to really get after Tom Brady and force him to make some mistakes.
My Prediction: 31-28 Texans
