USA Rugby using Korn Ferry for Nigel Melville Replacement

LAFAYETTE, CO – The application window the position of USA Rugby Chief Executive Officer [vacant with departure of Nigel Melville for the RFU] ended Saturday, April 16 and the national governing body of the rugby in the United States will now begin the process of interviewing eligible candidates. In order to help with the selection process and ensure all candidates are given a fair opportunity, USA Rugby and its Board of Directors have hired Korn Ferry to assist.

Korn Ferry is known as the “preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm.” With nearly 7,000 colleagues, their goal is to help leaders, organizations and societies succeed. Their Executive Search service helps organizations attract the best executive talent for moving their organization in the right direction.

Over 150 applications were received for the position of CEO and now Korn Ferry will begin screening candidates to determine those best suited to move on to the interview stage of the hiring process. A CEO search committee consisting of USA Rugby Board Members Jeremiah Johnson (USA Rugby Congress representative), Pam Kosanke (Athlete representative), Bob Latham (Chairman) and Peter Seccia (At Large) will work alongside Korn Ferry to assist in this screening process. All members of the USA Rugby Board of Directors will be involved in the final selection of the next CEO.
