PHILADELPHIA, PA – The College Rugby Championship, here in The City of Brotherly Love, made for an excellent weekend of rugby. It also gave a chance to catch up with some the USA’s big rugby names, including 2012 CRC Champion Dartmouth’s Head Coach, Alex Magleby, who took over the coaching duties for Team USA’s 7s squad.
RWU’s Matt McCarthy caught up with Coach Magleby just minutes prior to the CRC Final, which his team won. Here’s the interview:
Congrats to repeating Champion Dartmouth and Coach Mags. Also, we are happy to report that Team USA star Peter Tiberio (watch interview) recovered quickly from his broken arm, which he suffered while playing for the Arizona Wildcats against Coach Magleby and Dartmouth, in an exciting finish to great tournament. This was a great step forward for USA Rugby and a credit to the organizers of USA Sevens. We’ll be sure to return next year.
