NEW YORK, NY – The RWU family has its roots connected with New York Rugby Club; most of our staff has played, plays or with its members at some point. Now the club – the USA’s oldest – is using the Reach of Rugby to help fight Breast Cancer.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the New York Rugby Club are Counter-Rucking Cancer during the month of October.  The goal is to raise to funds for Breast Cancer Research. We’ll all had someone touched by this disease. It’s near and dear to my heart as I have lost 2 aunts to Brest Cancer. This fundraiser will run all October and the Weekend of October 20th and 21 first will see all 5 NYRC teams play in pink socks.
