BUFFALO, NY – If it wasn’t for such a disappointing second half effort from the Buffalo Bills last weekend, my picks would have been perfect. But I’ll take my 2-1 weekend, putting my picks back close to .500 with a 6-7 record so far this year. Will this be the weekend I go 3-0? Hopefully it will. With that, Here are my NFL Picks For Rugby Heads:

Atlanta Falcons (4-0) at Washington Redskins (2-2): The Falcons are the last undefeated team in the NFC. They’re going into Washington to play an up-and-coming Redskins squad led by rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. This will be a true test for Atlanta because the Redskins will put up a good fight. I’m interested in seeing how former Falcons’ cornerback DeAngelo Hall matches up against the great wide receivers for the Dirtybirds.
My Prediction: 35-20 Falcons

Eagles QB Michael Vick

Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2): Have the Eagles finally decided to show up? After playing a game of turnover-free football it would seem so. This week will be a good test for the Eagles against the Steelers who are coming off of their bye week. The bye week gave Pittsburgh a chance to increase the possibility of some key players for the Steelers to return, safety Troy Polamalu and running back Rashard Mendenhall.
My Prediction: 24-21 Eagles

Denver Broncos (2-2) at New England Patriots (2-2): Peyton Manning displayed some of the old Manning that we all loved so much last week against the Raiders. This is one of the best player vs player rivalries in sports, Peyton Manning v. Tom Brady. It doesn’t get much better than this.
My Prediction: 48-41 Broncos
