NEW YORK, NY: The Autumn Internationals, Dubai 7s, Aviva Premiership, Top 14 and Rabodirect Pro 12 are all on our radar with some ferocious action, so let’s get into the Weekend Rugby Preview.
Tier 1 & 2: The final autumn international of the year between tier 1 nations will be played this weekend. Wales have been whisker length close to defeating Australia in the last few years but somehow, some way, the Wallabies managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. This Saturday the sides face once more in the Millennium stadium in Cardiff and it will be interesting to see if Wales can pull it off. Meanwhile in Twickenham, rugby royalty, the Barbarians featuring 8 South Africans this year will take on a travel weary Fiji. Considering the scratch that the Barbarians is the definition of the Barbarians combined with a travelled weary but dangerous Fiji, this is going to be and exciting match.
Here is this weekend’s schedule:
Sat – 30 NOV 2013
Barbarians – Fiji
Wales – Australia
Dubai 7s: We have a special preview, where we go in-depth into the Dubai 7s with a pool by pool breakdown and predictions on who will finish where and walk away with which piece of hardware and points. Check out our Dubai Preview.

Conversion Kick:
Heineken Cup Saga: The future of the Premiership Rugby Limited (association of Aviva Premiership clubs) led split from the Heineken Cup and creation of the Rugby Champions Cup is in great peril. On Thursday, Ligue de National Rugby (Association of Top 14 and French Pro 2 division clubs) sided with the Federation de French Rugby and back the existing Heineken Cup. So now, we all await the move by PRL and broadcasters British Telecom.
USA Rugby, Serevi Rugby Partnership: Early this week, USA Rugby and Serevi Rugby “announced a multi-year partnership aimed at growing the game of rugby in America…Serevi will launch a national network of high performance Training Camps under the umbrella of the USA Rugby Academy – powered by Serevi.”
