PHILADELPHIA, PA – The selection of the Eagles’ management seems to make pretty clear that as much as the Americas Rugby Championship might aim to serve as development for inexperienced players, it is also very much a way for Mike Tolkin to provide his established players with some good competition before the autumn tests. It appears that Tolkin is not alone in his strategy, as Canada and Argentina have also utilized squads with some serous experience. The lineup for today’s match does feature some players recently joining the squad from the 7s circuit.
