JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Axemen will host the Central Florida Warriors Saturday, 30 July, on the the University of North Florida (UNF) Soccer Fields. The Axemen hope that this USA Rugby League (USARL) game, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m., can cap the end to a perfect regular season for their club.
The Jacksonville Axemen, currently 5-0-0, have already secured the first seed for both playoff games. Should Jacksonville win Saturday, the Axemen will finish the 2016 USARL Regular Season 6-0-0 and undefeated in Southern Conference (SC) USARL play.
Meanwhile, the Central Florida Warriors, currently 0-4-1, are hoping to end their 2016 USARL Season with a win. Should Central Florida defeat Jacksonville (and the Tampa Mayhem beat the Atlanta Rhinos), the Warriors may swap slots with the Rhinos for the number three seed going into the SC USARL Playoffs.
2016 USARL Playoffs begin 06 August
The 2016 USA Rugby League (USARL) Playoffs begin on Saturday, 06 August. Both Jacksonville and Tampa have secured home-field advantage for the first round of the post-season games.
