OBETZ, OH – As the sun sets and the dust settles on the inaugural PRO Rugby season, there seems to be a brighter future looming. And having had the privilege to be working with the Time Warner Sports Broadcast Team, our Matt McCarthy was lucky enough to speak with PRO owner Doug Schoninger. Topics ranged from what surprised him to future franchises.

It will be interesting to see which cities get franchises. Our early guesses are New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto and Vancouver. But as many of you already know, we’ve been wrong before and we’ll be wrong again.
