Down Under Bash: Wests Tigers Aim to Claw Gold Coast Titans

NEW YORK, NY – Looking across the pond – and a continent or two – we find ourselves caught up in some great rugby stuff coming from Down Under: the NRL match between Wests Tigers and the Gold Coast Titans.

But before the whistle starts the match, there are key personnel changes for each team.

The Tigers will be roaring onto the Campbelltown Sports Stadium pitch without the suspended Tommy Talau. That means Moses Mbye will shift in as a center and Jacob Liddle slides in to Mybe’s spot on the interchange.

The Titans, meanwhile, get back Tino Fa’asuamaleaui. He is in the lineup after serving a suspension after from a shoulder charge. That is BIG for the Gold Coast boys, especially since the pack has been pushed around recently. Moeaki Fotuaika drops to make room.

Wests Tigers had an unexpected win last week and in what was a promising display, there is hope that they can build on that to turn their season around, however at via betting dime  we found out that the odds are favoring the Gold Coast Titans by 3.5 points even though they are coming of a three-match losing streak.

This is after each team had very different results last week. Wests are riding high after a team-boosting victory in Wollongong (a great name) versus the Dragons, the Titans, conversely, coughed up a  22-0 lead at Suncorp in a life-sucking loss to the Broncos.

Keep an eye on Wests wing David Nofoaluma. He has scored five tries in his previous four games against the Titans.

And something from the Vautin Vault.
