GLENDALE, CO – With the assistance of a very understanding Mrs.,
our resident academic, Jake Frechette, was lucky enough to witness the first-ever PRO Rugby match. And despite frosty Infinity Park being blanketed with snow, Ohio Head Coach Paule Barford, Denver’s #8 Pedrie Wannenburg (former Springbok), former All Blacks front rower and current Ohio prop, Jamie Mackintosh and center Taylor Howden took the time to warm us up by coming on camera with Jake.
There was another match, later in the day and further west from our NY-based HQ, the stunning Sacramento win over San Francisco – and we’ve got coverage and highlights of that as well. That match, took place under completely different conditions, by the way, at a balmy Bonney Field.
