Is Luke Joeckel this year's Number 1 Overall Selection?
Is Luke Joeckel this year’s Number 1 Overall Selection?

Kansas City Chiefs: Luke Joeckel, OT Texas A&M: With rumors of the Chiefs trying to deal current left tackle Brandon Albert the selection makes sense here. Joeckel is not only the best tackle in the draft but the best player as well. Without any gaping holes in the Chiefs roster they can draft the top overall player here.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah: The Jags could have easily went with West Virginia QB Geno Smith here. However,  they did draft a quarterback in the first round a couple of years ago which makes you wonder if the Jags already want to give up on Blaine Gabbert. With Jacksonville looking for an anchor to their defensive line Lotulelie would be a wise choice here.

Oakland Raiders: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida: The Raiders are looking for someone to fill the hole left by Richard Seymour, and Floyd could be that guy. Again a lot of people like Geno Smith here, but the Raiders just brought in Matt Flynn in Free Agency and still have Terrelle Pryor too.

Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Fisher, OT, CMU: A lot of people like Chip Kelly taking one of his own here with Dion Jordan, but the most important need for this team is an offensive lineman. If the Eagles want Michael Vick to stand upright all season Fisher is their guy.

Detroit Lions: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma: Similar situation to Philadelphia here. The Lions need offensive line help desperately, so it would be wise to take the last elite offensive tackle in this draft class with the fifth overall pick here.

Cleveland Browns: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama: Aside from Luke Joeckel, this is one over the more confident picks here. There’s a lot of rumors floating around that the Browns love Milliner and some are comparing the Bama corner to New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis. Imagine matching Milliner up with Joe Haden

Arizona Cardinals: Dion Jordan, OLB/DE, Oregon: With the top three tackles off the board Dion Jordan is the Cardinals man. Jordan fell down the board in this mock; something the Cardinals will not complain about. Jordan is a very athletic player who can either play defensive end or outside linebacker for you. I’d compare him to former Buffalo Bills OLB Shawne Merriman.

Buffalo Bills: Geno Smith, QB, WVU: If all works out and the Smith is there at eight for Buffalo, he’s their guy. The Bills are all but a quarterback away from being serious playoff threat. However, if a team like Jacksonville drafts Smith then Buffalo should go with Tennessee WR Cordarrelle Patterson and a quarterback late in the round.

New York Jets: Ziggy Ansah, DE, BYU: Ansah has the highest ceiling in this draft. Ansah has only been playing football for a couple years now and came on in his senior season at BYU. Rex Ryan is the guy for the job to get Ansah’s full potential.

Tennessee Titans: Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama: Taking a guard this high in the draft is not something I’d normally do. But the Titans need someone to lead Pro Bowl running back Chris Johnson in between the tackles and Warmack is that guy.

San Diego Chargers: Jonathan Cooper, OG, UNC

Miami Dolphins: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Barkevious Mingo, DE, LSU

Carolina Panthers: DJ Fluker, OT, Alabama

New Orleans Saints: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri

St. Louis Rams: Tavon Austin, WR, WVU

Pittsburgh Steelers: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee

Dallas Cowboys: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas

New York Giants: Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia

Chicago Bears: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia

Cincinnati Bengals:  Matt Elam, FS, FSU

St. Louis Rams: Eric Reid, FS, LSU

Minnesota Vikings: Keenan Allen, WR, California

Indianapolis Colts: Sylvester Williams, DT, UNC

Minnesota Vikings: Manti Te’o, ILB, ND

Green Bay Packers: Justin Pugh, OT, Syracuse

Houston Texans: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee

Denver Broncos: Bjoern Werner, DE, FSU

New England Patriots: DJ Hayden, CB, Houston

Atlanta Falcons: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington

San Francisco 49ers, Johnathan Jenkins, DT, Georgia

Baltimore Ravens: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU
