ATLANTA, GA – The Atlanta Rhinos will host the Central Florida Warriors Saturday in a match-up between two teams trying to secure their first win for the 2016 USA Rugby League (USARL) Season. However, on Monday Atlanta announced a venue change for this weekend’s game. The Rhinos and Warriors will play this game on the grounds of the Georgia Soccer Park, 3895 Ben Hill Road, East Point, GA 30349, instead of Atlanta’s typical home field at Silverback Stadium. This matchup kicks off at 5 p.m. EDT.
This game’s impact on the SE USARL standings
Both Atlanta and Central Florida are tied for third in the Southeast Division (SE) of the USARL with records of 0-3-1. The Rhinos and Warriors have each suffered defeats at the hands of the SE USARL leaders – the Jacksonville Axemen and the Tampa Mayhem.
Atlanta’s and Central Florida’s previous meeting, played on 04 June to help kick off the 2016 USARL Season, resulted in a 28-28 tie. A win by either club will break the tie for third place in the SE USARL, and give that team its first victory of 2016.
