NEW YORK, NY – Show 25, Part II of our weekly Fantasy Sports Network show is all about the top-notch NY 7s Tournament… Since 1958, the New York Rugby Club has been making this Saturday-after-Thanksgiving tradition a staple for more and more ruggers. This year there were over 130 teams; women, men, youth and all of it fun… Our Matt McCarthy, who along with Alex Goff, John Broker, Joe Kelly and Harry Britt, handled the broadcast duties for Flo Rugby, interviews the winners: Alexandra Tessier of the Equipe Quebec and Tyler Barberi of B.E.S.T. – Beltway Elite Sevens Team…
The segment also captures some of the “the cool flave, brah” (according to Media Liason Badger Dennehy) and uniqueness of this storied tournament.
