DUBLIN, IRL — For a competition that has been played annually for the past 25 years, the European Rugby Champions Cup has continuously produced an exciting product that has highlighted the might of Europe‘s most dominant clubs.
Toulouse, who won the first Heineken Cup championship back in 1995-96, sit atop Pool 5 as one of only two teams in the competition currently undefeated. Leinster, Europe’s only other four-time Heineken Cup winner, sit on top of Pool 1 and currently holds the #1 seed in the competition.
Although both Toulouse and Leinster have already qualified for the knockouts alongside Exeter, Clermont, and Racing 92, this weekend’s matches stand to be some of the most hotly contested matches of the season as the remaining hopefuls jostle for the final three playoff positions.
Our expert panel returns for the final round of this year’s European competitions, making their most opinionated/educated guesses to try and predict what has traditionally been and unpredictable weekend of European Rugby!
