Premier Rugby Sevens Teams Up with FOX Sports to Televise Inaugural Games in Fall of 2021

NEW YORK, NYPremier Rugby Sevens (#PR7s), the new sports league that will debut with the top U.S. men and women players this fall, today announced FOX Sports as the league’s official television partner. The inaugural men’s and women’s tournaments will be available across FS1, FS2, the FOX Sports App and FOXSports.com.

Starting with a pilot season in the fall of 2021, PR7s will feature many players who will represent the United States in the Tokyo Olympics this summer.  The league will showcase six men’s teams and four women’s teams that play multiple games in one location.  The first host city, event date, and team names will be revealed in the coming months.  Fans are encouraged to sign up for news alerts and schedule updates at PRSevens.com.

The league’s initial player signings feature several stars from both the Men’s and Women’s U.S. Olympic Rugby Sevens Teams, including Perry Baker, Danny Barrett, Abby Gustaitis, Carlin Isles, Alev Kelter, Ilona Maher, Folau Niua, Naya Tapper, Stephen Tomasin, and Kevon Williams.
