NEW YORK, NY – Few would argue that one person that knows the American college rugby landscape as well as anyone is John Broker. In this Special Edition of the College Rugby Wrap Up, Broker joins Matt McCarthy in a preview of the HUGE EVENT that is the CRC 7s, National Collegiate Rugby’s jewel of a tournament. Imagine March Madness in but one weekend, Women’s and Men’s.
With college rugby peaking and Major League Rugby getting to it’s halfway point, there is/was/will be a ton of great action for fans of the American landscape upon which to feast… and MLR Weekly is here to feed the beast. What better way to do so then by having West Point/Army Rugby grad-turned Major League Rugby budding star, Collin Grosse help us organically bring it all together. Our Matt McCarthy caught up with the Old Glory forward after his former Army mates lost to Navy, and his D.C. team bested New York’s Ironworkers. It’s a great interview because Grosse is just a special person, refreshingly so.
