NFL Picks for Rugby Heads

It’s that time of the week folks, SUNDAY! Which means it’s time for my NFL Picks for Rugby Heads! After a 2-1 weekend last week, I’m now at 20-24. A perfect weekend would truly do wonders! We’ll see!

My NFL Picks for Rugby Heads:

Defensive lineman Haloti Ngata of the Baltimore Ravens. Fun fact… he played rugby as a kid!

New York Giants (8-5) at Atlanta Falcons (11-2): Remember last year when it was the playoffs and these two teams met in the first round? Atlanta only put up two points on a safety and lost pretty pathetically. This time around however, is different. Matt Ryan is playing at a very high level. So is the Atlanta defense. This game is also in the Georgia Dome, which helps Atlanta tremendously as well. My Prediction: 31-24 Falcons
Denver Broncos (10-3) at Baltimore Ravens (9-4): In my opinion, this game would have been much closer if middle linebacker Ray Lewis was on the field for the Ravens, however he’ll be kept out another week. The Broncos are the best team in the AFC at this point and it is because of the quarterback, Peyton Manning. He’s my pick for the MVP this year. This will be a close one because the Ravens have a good offense two, but I just don’t see them stopping Manning. My Prediction: 27-17 Broncos
Indianapolis Colts (9-4) at Houston Texans (11-2): If you were to tell me that after 14 weeks in the NFL season and the Ravens and Colts would have the same record, I would have said you were out of your mind. Number 1 overall draft pick Andrew Luck is playing up to his potential and like a real pro. He is the reason why the Colts are where they our today. But I believe today the train stops here. I believe that the Texans’ offense is too strong for the Colts defense for Indy to pull one out today. My Prediction: 28-16 Texans
